Detailed Description of Job Experience :
Cash Management: This involved setting up the Cash Management System For Siemens – It involved rationalisation of use of bank accounts, management of floats, cash concentration, assessment of "True Profitability" of business divisions, Cash Concentration, Cash (Liquidity ) Forecasting, liasioning and negotiating with the banks. It also involved setting up the systems for Cash Management for the company.
Channel Financing : This involved setting up a financial product for the distribution chain consisting of dealer/distributor related lines of business. It involved conceptualisation of the product, liasioning and negotiating with banks, introduction to dealers, and setting up the systems. Siemens was the first company in India to launch this product.
Receivables and Working Capital Management :
This involved getting more involved in divisions working capital requirements and identifying areas of concern such as outstanding receivables and providing innovative solutions to tackle problems in this area.
SAP R/3 :
Experience in this area was on two fronts – "Key User" and Implementation and identified as "In-House Consultant"
Was identified as a key user for certain S&D Module related issues after the system was implemented to identify problems in the system. Was also identified as a key user for the new cash management related G/L system for the same.
The implementation experience was in the area for Treasury – Cash Management which involved areas of Cash Concentration, Cash Forecasting, Electronic Data Interfacing (EDI) and Electronic Payment Systems (EPS).
The job as "In-House Consultant" involved training users and rendering assistance to the users from time to time.
